Fidelity and Guaranty Life Insurance Co. of Baltimore, a subsidiary of Old Mutual PLC of London, has adopted a new strategy for annuity distribution.
Its Atlanta-based sales operation, called Old Mutual Financial Network, will focus on customers that sell its annuities as core products. They will no longer be available to customers that do not sell them as their main annuity products, the company said.
"It is time for us to refocus our efforts to strengthen and deepen our relationship with organizations that aggressively promote our annuity products," president Bruce Parker said in a press release Wednesday.
