Pershing LLC, a subsidiary of Bank of New York Co., announced Tuesday that it has hired Paul Wichman to be a managing director.
Mr. Wichman is to be responsible for new business development within Pershing Investment Manager Services in Jersey City. Pershing is a provider of clearing and financial services outsourcing solutions to institutional and retail financial organizations and independent investment advisers.
Previously, Mr. Wichman was a senior division sales manager at Charles Schwab Institutional, an arm of the San Francisco brokerage company. During his 12 years there he helped lead the development and execution of the company's sales strategy for its western division. He also led sales initiatives in the Northwest and Gulf regions.
