Pacific Investment Management Co. LLC, a Newport Beach, Calif., firm majority owned by Allianz AG of Munich, promoted Daniel J. Ivascyn and Mark V. McCray to managing director.

Mr. Ivascyn is a portfolio manager and a member of the structured products team. Before joining Pimco in 1998, he worked in the asset-backed securities group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc.

Mr. McCray is a portfolio manager for Pimco's municipal bond and tax-sensitive portfolios and the chairman of its Shadow Investment Committee. Before joined the firm in 2000, he was co-head of the municipal bond trading platform at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, where.

Pimco, which announced the promotions Monday, has $668 billion of assets under management.
