RBC Insurance said Monday that it had opened its second Canadian retail insurance office.
The site is adjacent to an RBC Royal Bank branch in the Stoney Creek area of Hamilton, Ontario. The new office offers a retail option to customers wishing to meet face-to-face with an insurance adviser for home, auto, travel, and term life insurance.
Products offered through these insurance offices include home and auto insurance; travel, health, and visitors to Canada insurance; simplified health products; and term life policies. Requests for more complex insurance products, such as universal life insurance, are referred to specialized sales representatives. RBC Insurance has said it plans to open several more offices near its bank parent's branches during the next year.
