Savings Bank Life Insurance Co. of Massachusetts said Friday that it has a sales partnership with Rockland Trust Co. under which SBLI's life insurance products are sold in more than 50 Rockland Trust branches in southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod.
Rockland Trust, the bank subsidiary of Independent Bank Corp. in Rockland, Mass., has $3 billion of assets.
SBLI in Woburn, Mass., which has assets of more than $1.7 billion, is rated A-plus by the A.M. Best Co. insurance rating service of Oldwick, N.J., and A-minus by Weiss Ratings Inc. in Jupiter, Fla.
