Minnesota's St. Paul Travelers Cos. has received two awards for its implementation of interface technology that lets agents and brokers manage insurance sales, service, and renewals directly from within their agency management systems, the company said Friday.
The awards were presented this month at the Applied Systems Client Network, or ASCnet, annual conference in Orlando. ASCnet, the user group of Applied Systems, gave St. Paul Travelers a Real-Time Commercial Lines Policy Transaction Award for real-time initiatives carried out by Select Accounts, the division of St. Paul Travelers that provides small-business insurance.
Applied Systems Inc. and ASCnet also gave St. Paul Travelers an Interface Best Practices Award for advances in interface technology for commercial and personal lines.
St. Paul Travelers is a leading provider of commercial property /casualty insurance and asset management services. Under the Travelers brand, the company is the second-largest underwriter of auto and homeowners insurance through independent agents.
