State Street Global Advisors, the investment management arm of State Street Corp., has a new international exchange-traded fund.
The SPDR FTSE/Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 ETF, announced Tuesday, tracks an index of developed- and emerging-country stocks involved in infrastructure industries such as pipelines, transportation services, electricity, water, and telecommunications.
The fund's underlying benchmark is the Macquarie Global Infrastructure 100 Index, which is calculated by FTSE Group.
Including the new offering, State Street Global Advisors manages 70 exchange-traded funds, which had $113 billion of assets worldwide as of Dec. 31. The Boston company had $1.7 trillion of assets under management at the end of 2006.
