Sun Life Financial announced Wednesday the introduction of Sun Value Single Premium Universal Life Insurance into its portfolio of universal life insurance products.

Sun Value is a single-premium, instant-issue life insurance policy designed to meet the needs of people who desire death benefit protection while maintaining the ability to gain access to their account values as needed.
The product, with its instant-issue underwriting process, is available through the bank channel. Just four questions have to be answered, and notifications of eligibility are promised within 10 minutes.
Sun Life Financial Inc. in Wellesley Hills, Mass., had $307 billion of assets under management at June 30.
