SunGard said Wednesday that it had hired Dan Vacca to be a vice president and the sales director for its WealthStation investment platform.

Based in New York, Mr. Vacca is responsible to generate business and extend SunGard's integrated wealth management solutions to U.S. community banks and start-up to midsize trust companies.
Mr. Vacca has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management. He was director of financial planning at Morgan Stanley and previously was chief financial officer of Merrill Lynch & Co.'s business financial services division.
SunGard sells an integrated suite of services to help asset managers and advisers meet their clients' financial needs.
