Transamerica Retirement Services of Los Angeles has hired Christopher H. Barlow as regional vice president of sales for southern Ohio.

The Transamerica Financial Life Insurance Co. unit announced the hiring last week.
Mr. Barlow was director of alliance sales for ADP Retirement Services.
Before he had been a managing director of KnowHow 401(k) LLC, a consulting firm he founded that supports financial advisers in building their 401(k) business.
He will oversee sales in the Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton areas.
Transamerica Retirement Services has $11.9 billion of assets under management.
