Trustmark Corp. in Jackson, Miss., said Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to buy Fisher-Brown Inc., an insurance agency in northwest Florida, as part of a strategy to become a more diversified financial services organization.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close in the fourth quarter, were not disclosed.
In a press release, Trustmark said Fisher-Brown would operate as a subsidiary of Trustmark National Bank. The Destin, Fla., agency was founded in 1911 and has annual revenue of about $16 million.
