Vanguard Group announced that it has introduced an interactive and personalized account statement for participants in employer-sponsored retirement plans.

The statements are to be distributed to 2.7 million participants starting in December, the Malvern, Pa., fund giant said Thursday.
They show participants how much money they will be able to withdraw during retirement based on their current account balances and savings rates. Using the statement’s interactive feature, participants can personalize their income outlook by visiting Vanguard.com or calling a Vanguard retirement associate to specify additional future income sources or changes in their retirement age and current income.
