VantisLife Insurance Co. in East Hartford, Conn., announced a distribution agreement Wednesday with Pentagon Federal Credit Union and the Credit Union Service Organization, CUSO Financial Service LP, which provides broker-dealer services to Pentagon Federal members.

Headquartered in Alexandria, Va., Pentagon Federal is the third-largest credit union in the United States; it has more than $7.2 billion of assets. Its membership of 600,000 includes employees of the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, and departments of Homeland Security and Defense.
VantisLife operates in Connecticut as Savings Bank Life Insurance Co. and has more than $650 million of assets.
