Wilmington Trust Corp. announced Monday that it is expanding its family office and business management services to focus on the East Coast.
The wealth advisory company named Benjamin J. Ledyard to the new post of managing director and head of East Coast operations for Wilmington Trust Family Office, a division of its wealth advisory business.
Wilmington Trust Family Office said it plans to establish an office near the parent's Wilmington, Del., headquarters with a full staff by early 2006.
The wealth advisory business has clients in all 50 states and 30 foreign countries. Wilmington Trust formally entered the family office business last year when it bought Grant Tani Barash & Altman, a business management and family office services firm in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Mr. Ledyard has been at Wilmington Trust since 1998 as a managing director and senior private-client adviser.
