Merrill Lynch Hires Exec for EMEA

Bank of America Merrill Lynch has recruited David Oman from UBS AG to serve as chief risk officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Oman's most recent position was European chief risk officer and global head of counterparty credit risk at UBS.

The hiring was announced last week.

Meanwhile, Deutsche Bank's private wealth management division last month recruited Arnaud de Servigny to the new position of managing director, head of investment strategy and implementation.

Servigny was recently with Barclays Wealth and was the global head of research and strategy.

Deutsche Bank also appointed Anita Nemes, a former Merrill Lynch manager, as global head of capital introduction.

She will be based in London.

Nemes will lead the bank's effort to give its hedge fund clients access to institutional sources of capital.
