Metavante Technologies Inc. announced Monday that it has introduced the option for financial institutions to add financial planning and advice technology from AdviceAmerica to Metavante's existing wealth management offering.
Metavante, of Milwaukee, provides banking, trust and payments technology, and AdviceAmerica, of Fremont, Calif., supplies financial planning software and adviser services.
As a result of this alliance, clients that use Metavante's TrustDesk wealth management platform can complement it with financial planning and advice capabilities from AdvisorVision, AdviceAmerica's financial planning software.
FineMark National Bank and Trust Co. in Fort Myers, Fla., has used the TrustDesk and AdvisorVision tools independently since 2007 and will be involved in the development of the platforms.
