Northern Trust Corp. announced Tuesday that it has rehired Matt Severs to fill a newly created post as the head of consultant relations in its North America corporate and institutional services business.

He is to work on relationship management, sales, product development, and operations to support all asset servicing between Northern Trust and the consultant community.
Mr. Severs worked at Northern Trust until 1998 and since then has worked for several companies developing products for customers in Europe and North America.
Northern Trust, based in Chicago, has $4 trillion of assets under custody and $751.4 billion under management.
