Palisade Acquires Pieces of N.Y. Firm

Palisade Capital Management LLC, a Fort Lee, N.J., institutional and high-net-worth registered investment adviser, has bought the small-cap, small-mid-cap, and midcap growth equity strategies from AG Asset Management of New York.

The New York firm's investment team, which has $600 million of client assets under management, is joining Palisade Capital as part of the transaction.

Will Potter and Sammy Oh, both managing directors and senior portfolio managers, will continue to run the three growth strategies. Allen Margolius is joining Palisade Capital as an associate portfolio manager and senior vice president of research for the small-cap and small-mid-cap growth strategies; Brian Zimmerman is joining it as an associate portfolio manager and senior vice president of research for the midcap growth strategy.

Palisade Capital, which announced the acquisition Wednesday, had $1.7 billion of assets under management as of Dec. 31.
