Phoenix Cos. Inc. promoted Christopher M. Wilkos to executive vice president and chief investment officer.
It announced Monday he will still report to James D. Wehr, the Hartford, Conn., investment manager's president and CEO who was chief investment officer before his own promotion last month.
Wilkos, 51, has worked for Phoenix in 1997 and has been a senior vice president since 2001. Before joining Phoenix, he was an investment officer, portfolio manager and vice president of portfolio strategy and operations for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Co.
