Prudential Annuities, the U.S. annuity business of Prudential Financial Inc., has hired Tim Seifert as a vice president and director of national sales.
Seifert is in charge of sales planning and execution across Prudential Annuities' independent broker dealer, wire house, bank and agency distribution channels. He will also oversee its national sales managers, national sales desk and business development desk. He reports to Bruce Ferris, the senior vice president of sales and distribution for Prudential Annuities. Seifert was senior managing director for Planco Financial Services LLC, a unit of Hartford Life Inc.
The hiring was announced last week.
