State Street Global Advisors introduced three SPDR exchange-traded funds Jan. 27, the SPDR S&P Transportation, SPDR S&P Telecom and SPDR S&P Healthcare Equipment portfolios.
The three funds, now traded on NSYE Arca, track a series of Standard & Poor's select industry indexes. State Street now has 96 SPDR portfolios.
"Our family of exchange-traded funds continues to expand to meet the needs of a growing number of investors and financial professionals who rely on SPDR ETFs to implement a variety of asset allocation strategies and enhance the diversification of their portfolios," said James Ross, a senior managing director and global head of SPDRs.
