SunTrust Names Head for Private Wealth

SunTrust Banks Inc. promoted Willem-Jan O. Hattink to executive vice president and head of private wealth management and institutional investment solutions.

In these roles, he is to run the Atlanta company's private wealth management operation, including international wealth management, the sports and entertainment banking group, personal asset management and SunTrust Investment Services, the company said Thursday. Hattink succeeded E. Jenner Wood 3rd, who held the post on an interim basis.Hattink has worked at SunTrust for more than 26 years, most recently as business executive for private wealth management's central and Middle Atlantic banking groups.

SunTrust also said Thursday it promoted Jarrette A. White 3rd to executive vice president and private wealth management line of business executive for SunTrust's central group, succeeding Hattink. White, who has worked at SunTrust for 22 years, most recently was managing director of portfolio management, program lending, supply chain finance and leveraged finance in SunTrust's corporate and investment banking business.
