MEMPHIS -- TPI Restaurants Inc. said it has amended a bank agreement to provide for a three-year, $50 million revolving credit.

Bank of New York, NationsBank of North Carolina, First American National Bank of Memphis, and First Tennessee Bank of Memphis are in the lending group.

The unit of TPI Enterprises Inc., the leading franchisee of Shoney's and Captain D's restaurants, had prepaid a $30 million term loan under a previous agreement that also included a two-year, $25 million revolving credit.
