American Banker has improved and expanded its weekly Wealth Management Update newsletter: In addition to our top investment and insurance products stories for the week, this email newsletter now includes the full text of Wealth Management Media Scan, a weekly compilation of ideas and trends that are getting attention in the consumer media.

Written blog-style, Wealth Management Media Scan incorporates hyperlinks to relevant articles and documents from American Banker and elsewhere on the Web.

Wealth Management Update is one of three email newsletters we've recently beefed up. The new Technology Update doesn't simply provide our top tech stories for the week; it now also carries the full text of Security Watch, a provocative roundup of developments in the areas of privacy and data security and their relevance to the financial industry. Mortgages Update now couples consumer finance headlines with Pipeline, a weekly column focused on mortgage-market events and trends.

The enhancements are part of an overall upgrade to our seven core email services. In redesigning the services, we emphasized readability and utility. Besides improving their look and feel, we now provide story abstracts to go along with all of our headlines.
