Wood Creek Capital Management of New Haven, an alternative asset management company, launched Rosemount Capital Management's offshore fund.
Rosemount Capital Management is a unit of Wood Creek Capital. The offshore fund will be managed by Rosemount's Dublin office and will pursue the same strategy as Rosemount's onshore fund, directly originating, structuring, and syndicating global trade finance obligations.
Rosemount's offshore fund, which was announced Tuesday, was created to meet offshore demand for trade finance exposure.
Wood Creek seeded Rosemount's onshore fund in December 2005. Since then, Rosemount has directly originated over $500 million of primary market loans and has transacted over $1.2 billion in primary and secondary market deals.
