Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew, who was confirmed in February, repeated his commitment to completing the remaining rules of the Dodd-Frank Act.
According to Lew, finishing the Dodd-Frank rulemakings remains a high priority. "From literally my first day as Treasury Secretary I have been putting an enormous amount of my time into stepping on the accelerator in the implementation of Dodd-Frank," Lew said Wednesday as he faced questions from Republicans on the House Financial Services Committee.
The hearings were held to discuss the FSOC's annual report. Lawmakers questions Lew on various issues, but focused their concerns on implementation of Dodd-Frank provisions.
