TSYS, of Columbus, Ga., will also continue to provide fraud prevention, risk management and customer support services.

"We have seen significant growth in our cards portfolio throughout our relationship and look forward to continuing that trend over the course of this new extension," says Carl Bradbury, Commerce Bank's director of consumer card products in a Feb. 27 press release.

Commerce Bank has worked with TSYS since the mid-1990s, TSYS says in the release. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the agreement.

TSYS recently reported that its full-year revenue has exceeded $2 billion for the first time in the company's more than 30-year history. This milestone was driven in part by the company's 2013 acquisition of NetSpend, a prepaid card marketer.
