Printec Group, a payment-services firm based in Greece, says it will offer its banking customers in Europe instant-issuing technology from MagTek Inc., a company based in the United States. The technology enables banks to instantly issue credit, debit and ATM cards at branches, Printec says in a statement. Printec operates in 14 European countries, and the company says the technology will go to customers in all those areas. "As the card industry is becoming more competitive globally, the level of service provided to bank customers becomes fundamental," Panos Halkia, Printec transaction automation director, says in a statement.
