“PCI Rocks” Video Draws 31,000 YouTube Views Since March

Posted on video-sharing site YouTube almost a year ago, “PCI Rocks,” the PCI Security Standards Council animated video about the 12 requirements of the Data Security Standard has drawn more than 31,000 views since then, the council says.

Sung by a character that looks like Bob Russo, the Wakefield, Mass.-based council’s general manager, the song starts off with the first requirement, building and maintaining a secure network, and progresses through all 12.

While the singer appears to look like Russo, a council spokesperson says a proxy vocalist actually performs the song.
