GLASTONBURY, Conn. - Open Solutions Inc. announced that Tampa, Fla.-based GTE Federal Credit Union successfully implemented Open Solutions' data processing platform, The Complete Credit Union Solution and other complementary products. With more than $2 billion in assets, 39 branches and approximately 250,000 members, GTE's footprint continues to expand, both through acquisitions and aggressive member growth. ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A former ATM technician at Central Virginia FCU who was convicted of looting the credit union's ATMs was banned from the credit union industry by NCUA. James Allenson, of Lynchburg, Va., was found guilty of grand larceny for stealing from the credit union's ATM last year. Also banned were; Larry Shoenbeck, former CEO of First Century FCU, for embezzling $14,250 from the Sioux Falls, S.D., credit union; Robert Williams, former manager of Philadelphia Postal Workers CU; and Donna Delauder, former financial card services rep at MacDill FCU. ORLANDO, Fla. - Digital Check Corporation announced record results in 2006 for revenues and shipments of its TellerScan series of check scanners at the BAI TransPay conference.
