Chief Marketing Officer
Jenny Powell joined the bank in 1991. Ms. Powell is responsible for the brand management, advertising and marketing/communications for U.S. Bank. During her career at U.S. Bank, she has managed the marketing, customer communications and re-branding of more than 18 separate mergers including that of Star Bank, Mercantile and Firstar Bank into what is now U.S. Bank, the 5th largest bank in the United States. She directly manages the marketing for the Bancorps Consumer and Wholesale divisions, as well as the branding efforts, corporate and internal communications for the corporation.
Married and a resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jenny has one son and is involved in a number of community organizations which focus on children and the greater Cincinnati community including serving on the Boards of The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and CISE Inner City Schools Fund. Jenny is also active in a number of other organizations including the United Ways Success Under Six effort, St. Xavier High School and the YWCA.
