computerized software system to keep its servicing accounts up to date. The Certilink PC-based system allows servicers direct access to GE's data base, so that changes can be made immediately. "Speed and quality of service are major differentiators in our industry," said Martin H. Heck, executive vice president and general manager of Raleigh, N.C.-based GE Capitol Mortgage. "On-line access means servicers won't have to fill out forms, make copies or fax documents." Once in the GE Network, servicers use a web browser to access information. The system requires an IBM or compatible PC, a high-speed modem, Windows software and a Netscape web browser.
