Illinois League of Financial Names Executives

The Illinois League of Financial Institutions, Springfield, a trade association for savings and community financial institutions, elected Kathleen E. Marinangel chairman.

Ms. Marinangel, who will serve a one-year term, is chairman and chief executive of McHenry Savings Bank.

She is the first woman to be elected chairman since the trade group's founding in 1880.

Kenne Bristol, chosen to succeed Ms. Marinangel as chairman-elect, is president and chief executive of Hinsdale Federal Bank for Savings. Russell F. Schroeder, president of Iroquois Federal Savings and Loan Association, was named vice chairman.

The immediate past chairman is Raymond S. Stolarczyk, chairman and chief executive of Fidelity Federal Savings Bank, Chicago.
