Short takes: Bank Securities Group Aiming to Boost Ranks

In an effort to build its membership roster, the Bank Securities Association has added an administrator.

Thomas P. Cote, a consultant who previously worked part time for the Corte Madera, Calif.-based bank brokerage trade association, is now serving at administrative director of the organization.

In his new post, Mr. Cote will run the day-to-day operations of the BSA.

His main objective is to bulk up the membership roster of the association. "The industry is going through a major change with consolidation, and we've got an interest to maintain our membership," he said.
