In Brief: Swaps and Derivatives Group to Get New CEO

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association announced that Richard E. Grove will join the group as executive director and chief executive officer effective June 30.

Mr. Grove joins ISDA from Paribas Capital Markets in New York, where he has been head of the bank's fixed-income group.

Previously he practiced law at Cravath, Swaine, and Moore in New York and London, where he specialized in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and derivatives.

He graduated from Princeton University in 1979 and received his law degree from Harvard University in 1982.

"We are very pleased that Rick Grove will bring his considerable abilities to ISDA," said chairman Gay H. Evans, a senior managing director at Bankers Trust New York Corp.
