Procurement System Earns ICSA Certification

DynamicWeb Enterprises Inc., a provider of business-to-business electronic commerce technology, has obtained ICSA Inc.'s TruSecure certification for an electronic procurement system.

ICSA, a GartnerGroup affiliate that was formerly the International Computer Security Association, vouches for standards, controls, and other security aspects of systems that seek the TruSecure designation. It contributes to alleviating "the actual and perceived risks associated with Internet connections," said ICSA senior vice president of marketing Laurie Wagner.

DynamicWeb wanted to certify its EDIxchangeBuy service "to both insure that we were offering state-of-the-art security and to demonstrate to our customers how important it is for us to protect their vital, mission-critical data," said the Fairfield, N.J., company's chief executive officer, Steven Vanechanos Jr.
