The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Va. Names Executives

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Va., has named Jeremiah J. Sheehan, chairman and chief executive officer of Reynolds Metals Co. in Richmond, chairman of its board for 2000. It also named a deputy chairman.

Mr. Sheehan has been a Class C director, appointed by the Fed's Board of Governors, since 1997 and was appointed to a new three-year term beginning Jan. 1.

The Richmond Fed also named Wesley S. Williams Jr., a partner in the law firm Covington & Burling in Washington, a Class C director and deputy chairman for a one-year term beginning Jan. 1.

Mr. Williams has been a Class B director, elected by the stockholding member banks, since 1997.
