Delaware Place Bank Names Executive

Delaware Place Bank in Chicago has hired Joel R. Warland to be executive vice president and head of its business bank.

He succeeded Michael Keesey, who left the bank to pursue other interests.

Mr. Warland was a senior vice president and co-head of Bank One Corp.'s Chicago commercial lending division, targeting owner-managed companies.

He started his banking career in 1986 as a credit analyst at Lasalle National Bank in Chicago and later became first vice president and deputy division head of metropolitan banking. He joined what was then named Banc One Corp. in Chicago in 1996.

Delaware Place Bank has $116 million of assets.
