The online banking software provider iPay Technologies LLC is planning to offer its clients bill-presentment services, using data from CashEdge Inc.

The Elizabethtown, Ky., company said Monday that it would use CashEdge's AllData Aggregation Service to compile invoice information that can be delivered to consumers through iPay's online bill-pay application. CashEdge, of New York, is one of the top providers of money transfer applications to banks.

IPay plans to test the e-bill service this quarter and introduce it commercially in the first and second quarters of next year.

"Bill presentment and payment is another service that helps financial institutions attract, retain and grow their most profitable customers," Bill Ready, iPay's president, said in a press release.

IPay has 3,600 bank and credit union customers, including 900 that it signed in the past year.

It said last week that it had the most clients of any U.S. bill-pay provider, citing data compiled by the banking market research company Aite Group.
