Edward Meyers

Ed Meyers is Managing Director and head of the Energy & Power Infrastructure Group at BMO Capital Markets. Mr. Meyers has over 30 years of specialized public finance experience in the utility sector. He has structured a variety of financial transactions while working at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and at BancOne Capital Markets, has performed asset valuation and divestiture analysis on behalf of New Harbor Incorporated, and developed commodity trading and hedging applications with Duke/Louis Dreyfus LLC. Mr. Meyers’ career has enabled him to acquire particular expertise relating to financial and credit strategy, capital markets access, asset valuation, electric and natural gas commodity transactions (physical and financial) and renewable energy opportunities.Mr. Meyers has managed a broad range of financial and commodity engagements on behalf of AMP, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, MEAG Power, Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission and Nebraska Public Power District. In 2006, Mr. Meyers led the team executing the interim financing and initial debt offering for the Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission’s participation in the Plum Point Energy Station. This transaction was selected as a regional finalist for The Bond Buyer Deal of the Year Award. Mr. Meyers earned a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts and a J.D. from Fordham Law School in New York.
