Garrett started in the collection industry while attending high school. While at Florida State University, he completed an internship with Stellar Recovery, attended the Debt Buyer Association retreat in Napa Valley and studied abroad in Florence, Italy. Only days after graduating college with a degree in Applied Economics and a minor in Business, Garrett relocated from Florida to Montana. Garrett has impacted our company�s performance in Q4 of 2010 and 2011 by improving our rankings with a national client by utilizing technology, revising work standards and strategies. Garrett�s efforts took our performance ranking from eight to one. Garrett relocated back to Florida to supervise the office build out in Jacksonville, Florida and recruited 100 employees. Garrett assisted in purchasing one billion dollars in distressed assets. His successful management had a direct impact on top line revenues, which increased from 4.5M to 18M in 2011 and expecting to top 40M in 2012. Garrett received, on behalf of the company, the �Agency Partner of the Year� award. Garrett is now managing the entire operation for the company as Treasurer, CEO, and COO. In 2012, he was selected by the Business Journal as one of the top 40 under 40 professionals. In 2013, he received notification from Florida State University for achieving the nomination of the top 30 graduates under 30 years of age for his personal and professional achievements. With Mr. Schanck�s leadership, he has made Stellar Recovery, one of the top ten companies to work for in the Jacksonville area. Garrett has a unique approach in recruiting staff based on specialized skill sets and utilizing dialer strategy. His main goal is to set Stellar Recovery apart from the others; is by exploring all emerging markets to purchase and service assets. He anticipates adding additional offices inside and outside the United States. Mr. Schanck is currently an active member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, American Collectors Association, and Debt Buyer Association.
