J.C. Gunnell is currently Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Estate Information Services, LLC (EIS) located in Columbus, Ohio. J.C. was one of the original founders of EIS, and is a dynamic, strategic business leader with an exceptional track record of growing EIS into a highly profitable business. J.C. is a confident decision maker who integrates structural analytical techniques and experience to optimize business results. She has a proven ability to apply technology appropriately and lead the execution of projects successfully. J.C. has a reputation in the collection industry for innovation and creative problem-solving. She brings more than 26 years experience in the legal collection and probate service industry to EIS. Prior to opening her own agency, J.C. was employed over ten years as part of the senior management team for one of the largest creditor representation law firms in the country. During her tenure there, she developed, marketed and oversaw a multi-million dollar department in the specialty collection division of the law firm. She currently serves on the Ohio State board of directors for the Red Cross of Columbus, Ohio, is an active member of the National Association of Women Business Leaders, and takes an active role in the American Collector's Association. J.C. currently sits on several industry-related boards. She helped to start the Ohio chapter of "Taking Care of Tots", which is a charity organization specifically working with homeless and underprivileged children and their needs, has been an active member of the Scholarship Committee for Capital Law University, and has been involved heavily with the Ohio Womens Hall of Fame Association. J.C. graduated with a B.A. from University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas an M.Ed. at University of North Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, attended Georgetown University where she received her paralegal degree, and went on to earn a J.D. with honors from Capital Law University, Columbus, OH.
