John Sheldon co-manages the National Infrastructure Group within the Municipal Securities Division of Morgan Stanley.� From 10 offices nationwide, his group is responsible for providing investment banking services to state and local government and 501c3 debt issuers throughout the United States.Throughout his 26 year public finance career, John has worked as the lead banker to raise capital for States, county and city governments; utilities; universities, community college and school districts; transportation agencies; and 501c3 issuers.� His structuring expertise includes most types of municipal securities, from general obligation and revenue bonds to lease-backed and assessment debt, as well as a number of corporate-backed and project financings.� These transactions have utilized conventional fixed rate debt, all types of variable rate debt and certain derivative-based structures.John has an MBA in finance and public policy from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. �He is a graduate of Occidental College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics and a minor in economics.
