John Slyconish is a senior vice president and assistant treasurer of State Street. Since 2012, John has overseen the balance sheet management function within Global Treasury, with responsibility for asset liability management, capital management, balance sheet strategy, and enterprise stress testing. John joined State Street in 2010 as the chief operating officer of Enterprise Risk Management and interim Basel program director with focus on risk governance and reporting, risk appetite, stress testing, and Basel program management. In 2011, John became the head of Global Treasury Risk Management, providing risk oversight of State Street�s investment portfolio, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and structured products businesses.Prior to joining State Street, John was a partner in the Finance & Risk Management practice of Oliver Wyman. He joined Oliver, Wyman & Company in 2000 and during his time at the firm he advised various financial institutions on a broad range of finance, risk measurement, and risk management topics.John graduated with High Honors from Princeton University in 1999, with an A.B. Degree in Chemistry and a Certificate in Visual Arts.
