\nLisette Cooper is the founder, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Athena Capital Advisors. As CIO, she sets the firm’s overall direction and leads Athena’s Investment Committee. Lisette founded the firm in 1993. \n\n\nAthena Capital provides investment advisory and management services to sophisticated private investors, institutions and endowments. We work in partnership with our clients to serve as their chief investment officer and investment staff and integrate a broad range of services into a comprehensive investment solution for our clients. \n\n\nAthena Capital was ranked #1 in “Average Assets under Management per Client Family” by Advisor One (formerly Wealth Manager) in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and ranked #2 in 2012. Athena was also recently named amongst the Top 50 Family Offices Worldwide by Bloomberg Markets. \n\n\nLisette speaks regularly at conferences and universities and has appeared on CNBC’s “Closing Bell”. She is a CFA charterholder and has a Ph.D. from Harvard University and B.A. from Wesleyan University. \n\n\n
