Martin Abrams is Executive Director of the Centre for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams LLP, a global privacy and information security think tank, and an advisor to the Business Forum for Consumer Privacy. Mr. Abrams brings more than 30 years of experience as a policy innovator. He is a leading theorist on global transfers of data based on accountability and has led the movement in the U.S. to adopt harms based approaches to privacy. He was a leader in developing layered privacy notices and is currently working to bridge cultural differences in privacy.
