Michael Christensen

Michael Christensen is director of strategic relations for CoreLogic Collateral Solutions. He is responsible for managing key communications and messaging for existing and new valuation products, services and clients. Prior to joining CoreLogic in January 2011, Michael was president of National Transaction & Valuation, Inc., a real estate counseling, valuation and due diligence firm. He previously held several executive roles at LandAmerica Commercial Services and LandAmerica OneStop, where he was involved in business development, client management and executive profit center management. He led his own appraisal firm for 18 years, Michael H. Christensen & Associates, Inc., until merging his business with the LandAmerica Financial Group of Companies. Michael has more than 25 years of executive experience in innovative valuation, market development, contract negotiation and operations management. He is qualified as an expert witness in Utah District and Federal Bankruptcy Courts and has extensive courtroom experience. He also served two terms as Governor's appointee to the Utah Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board; serving as vice chair and chair of that board. He currently serves on the board of directors for an FDIC insured Bank and has served on a variety of public and private and industry boards, committees, and panels.Michael holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business management, as well as the SRA professional designation offered by the Appraisal Institute.
