Michael Tannenbaum

Michael Tannenbaum serves as SoFi’s Senior Vice President of Mortgage. In that capacity he is responsible for the mortgage origination, operations, business development and jointly responsible for mortgage capital markets. He was previously VP of Finance, responsible for financial operations and reporting, investor relations, treasury, loan investor reporting, corporate finance and FP&A. Michael joined SoFi in 2014 and was involved in loan sale structuring and execution within the Capital Markets group. Previously he worked as an associate at private equity firm Hellman & Friedman in San Francisco with a focus on the financial services and technology sectors. Michael began his professional career as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking group at J.P. Morgan in New York and at New Pacific Consulting (Parthenon Group) in Shanghai.Michael graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree from Columbia University.
