•Raj is a Partner at Oliver Wyman and a member of the firm’s North American Strategic Information Technology and Operations (SITO) practice. He has more than 15 years of experience helping large organizations improve their decision making and effectiveness through operations and use of technology. Raj leads Oliver Wyman’s Cyber Risk Management practice, focused on delivering practical technology and non-technology solutions to effectively mitigate cyber threats:–Responsible for firm-wide strategic investment in Cybersecurity across markets and capability areas, focused on integrating enterprise systems management, computer network defense, computer network attack, and computer network exploit functional capabilities.–Leads market assessment and strategy for civil and commercial markets in Cybersecurity–Created new approach – Comprehensive Cyber Risk Management - to address the full spectrum of Cybersecurity challenges by integrating policy, operations, technology, human capital, and management capabilities.–Serve as Oliver Wyman’s primary interface on Cybersecurity with Executive Management across the Firm’s client base.�•Raj also focuses on supporting both buy- and sell-side capital markets institutions in responding to strategic business, operational, and technology challenges resulting from changes in the regulatory landscape and market forces.•Relevant project experience includes:–Led design of a cybersecurity operations capability for a leading private and high-net worth client Bank–Designed end-to-end cybersecurity program for a leading asset management firm with AuM well over $100B–Led strategy development for a market infrastructure institution to monetize data assets, including transformation of data assets to specific marketable data products, competitor outlook, market sizing, and internal capabilities to fully realize commercial value proposition–Defined a performance (risk and return) measurement and management operating model (includes risk and return attribution at the investment strategy level, processes to manage tracking error) based on long-short overlays applied at the portfolio level for a large North American pension plan. Assessed the operational impact of introducing the new performance measurement framework and designed solutions to address organization, process and systems gaps•Raj has been interviewed by and published articles with Directorship , Optimize Magazines, Compliance Weekly, and other industry specific publications on topics such as Information Management, data integration, and IT risk. He is an active speaker and panelist at industry conferences, such as SIFMA, National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and Financial Insights•Raj holds a Masters in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland at College Park
