Rena Mears

Rena Mears is a Managing Director at BuckleySandler LLP, where she focuses on privacy, cyber risk & data security. She has more than 25 years of experience advising companies in financial services, hospitality, technology, bio-tech, and consumer products and services industries. Ms. Mears advises companies and boards on effective methods for addressing data asset risk while operating in complex business and regulatory environments. Working across the organization, from the board and senior management to compliance and operations, she assists companies to develop, implement, and evaluate data risk mitigation strategies, enterprise security and privacy programs, cybersecurity and breach response capabilities, control environments, and reporting processes. Prior to joining BuckleySandler, Ms. Mears was a partner in a Big Four advisory firm’s Enterprise Risk Services practice, as well as founded and led the Global and U.S. Privacy & Data Protection practice.
